  • So happy to have found Urban Dog! The amount of wonderful things to say about them is endless. When we first moved to Pittsburgh, we could not find a place for our pup that gave true TLC. After the countless good dog daycare options in New Orleans, I was disappointed with the quality of the options in Pittsburgh, even though there are so many daycares. Well the search has ended... URBAN DOG is the BEST DOG DAYCARE in Pittsburgh! From the moment we walked in, the staff wanted to know about our pup beyond just his vaccinations. They take a true interest in the well-being of each individual dog. Our dog was having a rough time with the move from New Orleans, and started to chew his paws raw. The amount of concern displayed by all of the staff at Urban Dog was unbelievably kind. They offered many suggestions and remedies, and yes he is cured thanks to Urban Dog. (He started chewing at another Daycare, not to be named.) Each time you walk into Urban Dog, you and your dog will be greeted with a warm smile and they know your name, not just your dog's. The setting is laid back and not at all stuffy. It's a place you know your dog will have fun and be exhausted from a hard day of play! If your dog just needs some down time, they will individually hang out with your dog and give him or her some special attention. On top of the fantastic service provided by Urban Dog, the pricing is competitive and the hours are the best in Pittsburgh. Most other places I have found make you pick up your dog by 6:30 or earlier. Urban Dog is open until 7:30! Thank you Urban Dog for making our dog a happier little guy!
