What's upsetting is so many nail salons that can not provide a pleasant experience. Pedicures are suppose to be nice and relaxing but instead I walk out of these places feeling scared and tense. I
This place is open late, I would have really enjoyed it if it was everything I hoped for. I am a nail technician myself and I'll tell you this---
I asked for a "Happy feet" pedicure which consist of the full package! We didn't leave with happy feet. More like bleeding feet. Sad feet. Oh hell no feet.
The order of my pedicure was odd. I got scrub and mask first before my cuticle cleaning and callus removal. Wait, how does this help exfoliating if he hasn't even removed my calluses? And the scrub is also suppose to lock in moisture but he only used it on my legs. After the scrub and mask rinsed off he then used the foot file to remove the dead calluses but wait, no pumice stone?? The pumice stone buffs the skin to created a smooth finish- now I just have little pieces of skin hanging from the file abrasions. Ok, well now the hot stones- he went up the leg, and down the leg. Boom! I'm done! In 30 minutes I've received a "sad feet" pedicure. And no cooling gel that's listed on their services...
Now, my mans pedicure. He received the proper order from what I could see. But she kept wanting to downgrade his pedicure. lol I guess she was in such a hurry to go home. With the foot file she cut the TOP of his foot, ouch! How does that even happen? It's bleeding and she proceeds. She then puts the menthol foot mask over it- he tells her it burns and she says "oh." Then sprays it with alcohol. Lol WTF. How are they licensed techs?!
Slaps on lotion. Up and down. BOOM! "Sad feet" pedicure. She then tells her co-workers "good bye" and she's over and out!
$90 later...pamper me didn't pamper me.
