  • The first time I had a Carne Asada burrito from Chile Verde was when my co worker brought one in for me. After the first bite.... I knew this was the closest to authentic Mexican food that reminded me of home town LA!!!! Since then, I've been coming to Chile Verde when we're on that side of town. $6.95 for a Carne Asada burrito that is made fresh in front of my eyes and that Red hot sauce is to die for! literally!! I am most impressed how it's usually a 1 man show!! For the most part, its 1 guy doing the ordering and the cooking, I'm assuming he is the owner! Sometimes there's another person helping with the ordering. I am also impressed at how clean everything is! the kitchen is open and it's very clean and organized! Since it's usually just 1 person working.. the line can get pretty long and the wait for your order could be quite long too. I wouldn't suggest coming if you're already frustrated and hangry.. but if you pull it together and try to be patient... it's worth every min!
