  • It had been quite some time since we had visited Cakes and Flakes. My most recent experience this week was not great at all. I find it very difficult to offer continued business to a restaurant or any other establishment where there is more concern about profits versus providing a great product or service! When I was asked to pay with cash in an establishment that has credit card logos on the front door...it says one thing... the store does not want to pay fees for card usage. I hope that this practice is not the norm for Cakes and Flakes. And....especially if the host or cashier does not offer any smiles, explanation or apology! Cakes....you were a little "Flakey" on this recent visit.
