AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE (which it actually might help transmit). The place is as unsanitary as they come. The tools are not sterilized properly, hands are not washed between clients, stations are dirty. The pedicure technician has cut my cuticle and drawn blood and after I've asked for an antiseptic, I've discovered that not only they don't keep one on hand, the owner has no idea that she must report all incidents of cuts that lead to bleeding to Toronto Public Health. I got screamed at for pointing it out.
The powder dipping procedure (so called NuGenesis) involves you dipping your fingernails into communal jar of powders. Understand that there is no sterilization between clients and your EXPOSED nail and cuticle gets dipped into a jar where a person potentially carrying Hepatitis and other transmittable diseases has been.
This place should be shut down and its ignorant (not to mention obnoxiously rude) owners (Anna and the husband) be put out of infection-transmitting business.
If you value your health, AVOID.
