  • I had taken my 2008 Buick Enclave in for service because of a problem with the front passenger side Air Bag sensor recognizing my wife when she was sitting in the seat, also there was a problem with the side mirror on the passenger side. When I arrived I was greeted by a gentleman and told him what my problems were and he wrote it down on his check in sheet. I then asked for Scott Baldassini because he was the Service Advisor that I was assigned to when I purchased the car. Scott came over and checked the car and told me what he thought might be wrong with the car but that the service department would have to check it out and it would take a few days. Scott said I will set you up with a courtesy and call you after the service department check it out. Scott called me the next day and confirmed that the sensor was bad and that the mirror would have to be replaced , plus they had found a leak in the steering under the car. I had purchased this 2008 Enclave used from Coulter Motor Company and purchased the Warranty when I brought the car. Scott said that the steering leak and mirror would be covered by the warranty but the Air Bag Sensor wasn't. He said that he would talk with General Motors about Air Bag Sensor and that it would probably take a couple of days. Scott called me in two days and said that it would cost about $700.00 or $800.00 to replace the sensor and GM would cover it all but $300.00. I told him that I had just purchased the car and that part was bad when I purchased the car and I felt that I shouldn't have to pay for the sensor. I then discussed having the Oil and Filter changed . Scott said that he would talk with the Sales Department about the sensor and get back with me. Scott called me the next day and said that the Sales Department was going to pickup the $300.00 for the sensor and all I would have to pay for was the Oil and Filter Change. I am glad that I purchased the Warranty on the car and I will tell anyone when purchasing a used car, alway purchased a Warranty if available. I also would like to say Thank You, to Scott Baldassini and Coulter Motor Company for the best customer service in the Valley. Sincerely, Willie Austin
