  • I like bars with nice patios and I like Tiki decor, so I really liked Drift. I was here to meet up with a group of friends for happy hour. One of many bars I passed in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, Drift sticks out with the numerous Tiki torches and Wooden Tiki's. The interior is Hawaiian chic with a huge aquarium that the bar wraps around, very cool! The crowd was fairly diverse and good looking too. This place is lounge only, don't expect to go here for dancing, in fact I don't remember hearing any music playing at all the whole night. The wait staff was friendly and on the ball for such a large crowd. The drinks were kind of expensive for Arizona and I did see a velvet rope go up later on, but they didn't make anyone wait. Over all a great bar.
