  • Came in here on one of their event days. I was staying at Bally's so this is the closest Starbucks from my hotel. Like literally out front. Our car had some battery trouble so decided to walk around a bit while waiting for triple A to come. (If you don't have AAA .. they are the BEST lol). It was pretty hot in Vegas...about 110F? The tow truck guy was about 20 minutes away so I went to Starbucks to get a drink and cool down a bit. Ordered my usual. Venti Ice Green Tea Latte with Soy over Light Ice. After I ordered I sat down to see what the whole commotion was about inside of the store. They were having some kind of barista competition? I thought it was kinda cool to see it live. But its not like every drink is towards the competition. When my drink came out it was about time the tow truck guy came so I picked up my drink and rushed back into the hotel towards the parking lot to find him. While waiting on the guy to replace our battery..finally had a bit of time to sip on my drink. I actually drank the whole thing only to see my drink was completely filled with ice. Hello? I know it's hot out and I asked for an iced drink...but I didn't ask for my entire cup to be Iced. My venti just became a short filled with ice to cut back on costs. Not cool starbucks. NOT COOL.
