  • This is my FAVOURITE bubble tea place. "It's like the Starbuck of bubble tea" my friend proclaimed when I took her there. A bold statment comparing a small hole in the wall bubble tea establishment to a multi-billion and largest coffee company in the world... But I'm with her. The reason I love this bubble tea place is that they are incredibly kind about customization. They mix flavours, and even offer "half sweet" options. (I love sugar, but also have a low tolerance for super sweet beverages.) Half sweet bubble tea=allowed to drink twice as many. Fact. The woman who usually works here is always friendly. Once I ordered a coconut bubble tea, and I asked to have it without any of the sugar syrup. She did it, but also warned that that flavour wouldn't be as good without any sugar, but told me that other flavours would lend well. She gave me my drink and told me that if I didn't like it she would add some sugar. Well, she was right, it did need a little sweetness, and she happily took back my drink, added liquid gold (aka simple syrup) and gave it back to me. They offer a punch card, and also sometimes $1 off coupons. MY FAV
