Very poor experience. After contacting to see if an appointment was needed / recommended I was told just to 'drop by'. So I did.
And I am in hour two of waiting as I write this just now.
I cannot in good conscience even go through with the service. So I am waiting on getting a refund. And waiting. And waiting for the owner / manager to come out because 'she's the only one who can do a refund.' When she came out and I asked for a refund, she didn't even make eye contact and one of the kids at the register shouted, 'just use your numbers?' and was able to process the refund.
This would have been more palatable if even if one of a few things happened:
1. Any communication on how long it was going to be.
2. They were a little less quick to my money.
3. If it didn't seem disingenuous that only the owner / manager could do the return.
This place has so many good reviews, I was not expecting this at all and am very disappointed.
I cannot believe that I'll be going to Claire's tomorrow when I wanted to support a local business.
