  • I bought a brand newhome from Richmond American Homes in the Glenmore development and paid cash with 40,000 dollars worth of upgrades for my home. The experience was absolutely horrible. They overpromise and under-deliver in every aspect. To start off, the salesperson showed me a dirt lot that I was going to purchase and then it ended not even being my lot. He showed me a roof top that I was going to have and then I found out that it was completely different. The superintendent Scott Hoop, told me to pay his team on the side if I wanted extra work done. He told me not to contact him on particular days yet he was driving around the development talking on his phone on the same exact day that he text me that. His team got paint all over my garage and he sent me a text saying "hose it off". They turned over a house that was a complete mess to me. Even the customer service representative was embarrassed. I closed on the home in December and they still haven't finished the punch list. Scott Hoop does not belong in customer service at all. The team at this development and Scott Hoop are not trustworthy at all. I sent Scott Hoop a text saying that I was going to file a formal complaint since they had not completed their duties and he sent me a text back saying "Good......" Absolutely unprofessional.
