  • I was required by my new carpet's warranty to get a professional cleaning every 2 years. So just before that 2 year* mark, I hired Green Carpet Cleaning to do it. They charged me around $300* for the 5 bedrooms and hallway upstairs. They completely soaked the carpet and pad so that my less than 2 year old carpet rippled up everywhere. Now I could pay the carpet installer another $75 to re-stretch the carpet (they're giving me a deal out of pity) but I would need to remove all the furniture from the entire upstairs of my house. And I don't see that ever happening. *Edited for Price & Age Correction
