  • This was the saving grace to visiting Treasure Island. We've never been here so walked over in the afternoon. It looks like they were doing some construction outside the hotel/casino when we went. This was the last week of March on a Saturday. The casino itself looked a little dated and we went to visit the Tikie bar which close recently. Both Gillies and Senor Frogs were dead so we didn't want to hit those places. After playing a few games, we were beat from walking the day before so we saw the Breeze bar. No one was in the lounge area (couches) so we asked if that area was open. A nice bartender said yes so we sat down and ordered drinks. We rested for about 1 hr and the drinks were perfect and not too much money. I had a margarita and my wife ordered some sort of tropical drink which she said had just the right amount of alcohol and mixers in it. I doubt we would head over to TI for the games but if we wanted a nice place to chill and drink, we'll head back over to the Breeze bar again!
