I first did business with Kens as a broke teen in the late 1980's - they gave me good advice and quality service at a great price... which brought me back a couple years later with a different car, when they again took good care of me... which brought me back with a different car a few years later... well you get the point.
What really sold me was the second visit (and a couple since) when I was sure I had a dying transmission - and instead of selling me a new transmission they fixed / adjusted the existing one, charged me a fair rate for an hour or two of labor, and sent me on my way with a properly shifting car and most of my money still in my pocket.
Over the years I have taken at least 5-6 cars to them, bought two transmissions from them, had them fix transmissions 3 times, and have never had a bad experience. All this and their prices are generally amongst the best you will find (yes - I am a cheap bugger and I comparison shop most things that cost me more than $5).
Highly recommended....
