They are the first Limo company you come to when you leave the baggage area...that has to be the only reason they get any business. They ALMOST got me.
We arrive from Tampa on Southwest which was on-time as always. Went to the baggage claim to get the bags...no problem there. Then we went outside to see about a ride to Bally's. Note: Normally I rent a car when I'm in Vegas. This time we were only going to be in town for an extended layover of about 30 hours before we were off to Hawaii.
I walked up to the counter and initially bought two one-way trips to Bally's. My girlfriend talked me into buying the round-trip ($24) so we did that. We were told where to go stand and got there just as a filled bus left. So we were told to stand there and wait a few mins they'd have a new bus on the way...and that's exactly what we did...stand...and stand...and stand...and stand in the brutal Summer heat of Vegas. There was a guy there with a radio kept calling out for a new bus, but no one came. People started getting antsy and one guy left and tried to sell his tokens (they give you a token for travel each way) to someone else.
Finally, after 20 mins of waiting and numerous buses from other companies leaving...I went back up to the counter and asked for refund. A refund was PROMPTLY given (that was the only thing that was prompt from them).
We walked a few feet down to Bell Bus Company....got on one of their buses and were at Bally's in less than 12 mins.
