  • Dr. Carruth is by far the best dentist for root canals! My experience with him has been nothing but the best!! A little background of my situation that he fixed.. I had a bad situation where a crown of only a year old, it was poorly done. Being misdiagnosed by another dentist thinking the crown was too high and that it only needed an adjustment from a bruising to the gum. I didn't think I needed a serious to fix. Going on for months with pain, I went into Dr. Carruth's office, my gum had swollen so much that I had difficulty smiling. I was almost to an emergency state. Dr Carruth, diagnosed me right away after some x-rays. It was simple and easy. He is a wonderful dentist who knows how to explain technical procedures in a way that's easy to understand. He was able to do the procedure right away. You'll have the option to have your favorite music on with noise canceling Bose headphones. The procedure felt much better than some fillings I've had. Dr. Carruth really cares about his patients and wants them to heal thoroughly. Since my root canal was much more complicated with infection, he was kind to call and check on me. During follow up visits, he cleaned the inside of the tooth and put in a temporary filing to make sure it heals properly. Since then, everything had healed properly and a permanent filing was put in. I am pleased to say I have no pain and that he did an excellent & thorough job. I wouldn't go to anyone else! He's the best Endo Root Canal dentist in Charlotte!!
