| - Did a walk-in as my family & I were in the area. I have family of 4, 3 of us need glasses, so wanted to get eye exam for this year & get new glasses. We waited in their waiting area for 15 mins...Not one of the girls, in front part of office, even bothered to look our way or even bothered to greet us when we came through the doors. I finally had to get one of the girls' attention by saying, "excuse me do we need an appointment?" She responded by asking us what we needed. Told her 3 of us needed glasses but, had no appointment. She told me to go to the Optometrist Desk, which was located behind a wall from the front part of the office. So we said thank you and walked up to one of the receptionist working the Optometrist Office. Said hello & told her that 3 of us needed glasses, she said "well we can't help you now because we are closed, you can do walk-in tomorrow (their office hrs are from 9am-8pm, it was about 5:30pm) but, we have no available appointments so you can come in on a walk-in basis. My husband didn't even know how to respond to that. She was rude & said it in a way that told us, "we really don't need your business!..but, 'whatever..'" I told her, you know we've been waiting in your front office for about 15 mins now, with no one even remotely interested in asking if we needed any help. I turned to my husband & said, "let's go to another place, the customer service here is horrible!" The receptionist, with dark hair, laughed at what I said. She thought it was funny that they were turning 3 people away from their business!!!! What happened to good customer service??! I guess they don't need our stinkin' money! Guess, she gets paid from a "money tree" she shakes in her backyard?! Horrible!!!! I ran several companies in the past, never would I let the employees ever treat a customer that way, or turn a possible customer away; ever!!!!! Please teach all of your employees some Basic customer service skills!
