Absolutely horrible airline. I booked a flight to New Mexico to attend my grandmas funeral and my flight was first delayed by an hour then when I got to the airport is was delayed another hour, total of two hours. This of course meant I would obviously miss
my connection in Denver. After I informed them that I needed to make it there before 9am the next day they kept telling me there was nothing they could do because they had no flights until the next morning and that would get me there around 1pm. I was very upset and stood at the counter for an hour before they told me this...then I asked them to just give me a refund and thanked them for not helping me find a solution and thanks for causing me to miss my own grandmas funeral. They then told me in order for the refund they had to fill out a form that completely justified the refund! What? They said that it is to be 100% their fault in order to refund the amount I paid for the ticket. Of course it was their fault, it wasn't my fault the plane was delayed two hours! Unreal! I would never recommend anyone flying United. I will stick to Delta and Southwest!
