| - Had a consultation which everything went smooth and great, so we scheduled my Lasik surgery to be done in two weeks from the consultation date. Tomorrow morning was supposed to be my scheduled surgery date, but I get a call from them today saying the surgery is being canceled and they wouldn't be able to fit me in until another two weeks from now. Had it been a week delay, I would have been more understanding; but really two more weeks?! Also, a bit more notice of canceling the surgery ahead of time would be very convenient, a day before is inappropriate for any business.
Not only did I lose out on having to take a day off from work tomorrow, but my transportation ride also lost out by taking her day off from work, too. Not to mention having to take another day off for both of us to accommodate the rescheduled surgery. After spending the money on the Lasik medication plus giving away my Arizona Cardinals football I already had so I can safely recover at home instead, all just for wasted money, time, and experience.
For a company whose been running a valleywide business the past 30 years, I would expect more accommodation and sympathy to be provided. No Lasik surgery for me here.
