| - Pluses: good egg Benedicts, though one was overcooked so the poached egg was dry, and the tarragon biscuit was over salted.
Minuses: the croissant egg sandwich was cold...appeared to have been the first of four dishes cooked and then left standing to cool off.
More important, the service was terrible. We ordered a large coffee and cocoa when we first arrived, on a quiet Sunday morning with only a couple tables occupied, and it didn't arrive even 20 minutes later, after our food had been served. When we complained, after a few minutes the waitress (an older gray haired woman, not sure if it was the owner, since she had a bit of an attitude), came back and asked us to remind her if we had ordered a large or small coffee. We told her we had ordered (and prepaid for) a large. Some minutes later still, the younger waitress came by with a SMALL coffee.
Then, after we cancelled the coffee and the cocoa, since we had already eaten our meal, and still had not received either of the drinks we hard ordered a half hour earlier, we didn't get a receipt for the credit. When I went up to the counter to ask for the receipt, the younger waitress (dark hair) said she didn't know how to print one out on their system. I had to show her how myself...even though it was very obvious from the payment system they were using (Square).
Bottom line: forgetful and incompetent service.
