  • I've been to a few good places in Austin and was much looking forward to Phoenix's version of Rudy's. To me, the brisket as a little dry and the bread was underwhelming - just regular white sliced bread you can get at Costco. I remember asking around at the end of the meal and we all thought it was OK. I was really looking forward to this as my friends in Austin rave about this place but I will probably look for a different BBQ joint for my next Brisket run.
