  • Went to their Christmas tree lot because I had a $5 off coupon. I thought the prices were high but figured trees were just more expensive this year; plus the nice kid helping us offered another $5 off. Paid 50 bucks for a 5' spruce. Realized after I left they didn't take the $5 off that was promised. Then I went to Home Depot to get a tree for my sis-in-law....lo and behold the trees were larger and $20 cheaper! The guy at Home Depot said he'd heard that a lot. They also have the nice shaker to get the extra needles off and the net to transport it which MV didn't. I emailed MV asking for a partial refund since the lot had a huge sign stating 'Lowest Prices Guaranteed'. Even the tree bag and preservative were more expensive. They can't claim freshness because HD gets their trees delivered every few days from the farm. It's been a month and I never heard back. Nice customer service...not. I'll stick to Home Depot and Whitfill nurseries.
