  • Dr Steinhauser is the best!!! I went to see her over a year ago for a regular check up as she is highly recommended. She impressed me with her professionalism and her high level of technical knowledge, but mostly with her caring attitude. Friday night my left eye started to itch a little so I gently massaged it but it soon got worse. After a while it felt like a pin was sticking in it and I couldn't sleep at all. I just put an ice pad on it and waited until 8am until places started to open. I called a lot of opticians that were open but nobody could fit me in without an appointment. Finally I called Dr Steinhauser even though I knew they were closed on Saturdays. She texted me back after a short time and agreed to meet me at once at her office. She found and removed a small plastic bead from deep under my eyelid and gave me a free sample of antibiotic drops to make sure it healed well. She also put some drops in my eye to relieve the soreness and I left the office feeling perfectly fine. I highly recommend Dr Steinhauser, she's one of the kindest doctors I know!
