  • Work was pretty busy today... Saw a pretty boring movie (Lucy) after work and had a disappointing dinner (@T-Bones in Scarborough)... I than felt like getting a good dessert. Dairy Cream popped into my mind instantly. I recall reading a few reviews on this place. I live in RHill, work in Markham, saw the movie at STC, drove down to T-Bones at Midland & Eglinton and decided to head all the way west to Lakeshore and Cawthra to get ice cream. 175kms in total today and it was raining pretty hard as I was heading west around 8pm. Hoping the place would not be too busy due to weather. Got there and noticed a good size crowd for this kind of weather (only 13 degrees too). Ordered a vanilla soft serve with chocolate dip. I fell in love with this on first lick. The chocolate dip didn't even get a chance to harden up and I was eating the cone already lol. Price was not too bad. A bit more expensive than Dairy Queen but, better tasting to me. Very rich and creamy. Will I come back... you bet!!! A bit far for me but willing to drive out of way to get here. Keep in mind I was at Midland/Eglinton earlier which is about 60kms east and I made my way here (in rain too) lol.
