Came here as a birthday event with my siblings for mom. We were doing the "Try It" Wheel Throwing Class. We prebooked online which was easy. Wished the website would tell us that the only items we would be allowed to make were 3 bowls. Website listed that we would be making up to three items, but did not specify it would be 3 of the same item.. between the 4 of us, we did not need 12 bowls. Would be nice if we were allowed some variation. Instructor was nice though, it was not a super thorough class as it was only 1.5hrs but she did teach us some technique which allowed us to make our items on our own confidently.
Would have been a four star rating, but one of the girls at the front desk was rude from the moment we walked in. We live farther away so allotted extra travel time and because there was no traffic we arrived at around 1:10pm (our appointment was 1:30pm). The girl I spoke to on the phone prior to coming in said we could show up at 1:15 to get ready, so I did not think being 5 minutes early was going to be a big deal. However, when we walking in and I told them we had a booking at 1:30 she rudely said, "You do know you're too early right? Why don't you go to the McDonalds and Tim Hortons and come back later." That definitely turned us off...
When we finish painting our pottery items in 3 weeks, we probably won't be back due to her attitude.
