  • I was excited to finally check out Brunch at Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar's. My friends and I thought we'd be safe from the lines if we came for a late brunch, and boy were we wrong- it was still an hour and a half wait when we got there at 1pm on a Sunday, although this was still during the busy Summer months (end of June). We went to the automatic kiosk machine and entered our information, so we could gamble and/or walk around until our table was ready. We ended up getting texted before the 1.5 hour mark, but you still have to stand in line to pay and be seated, which took about 10 minutes from when we got there. Adult Brunch on Sunday costs $43.99, but this includes bottomless mimosas (I don't think there is a way to waive the alcohol if you don't drink). -Seafood Plate (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bacchanal-buffet-las-vegas-7?select=n-9x_33nc6kufoos1XDSHg#n-9x_33nc6kufoos1XDSHg): The chilled shrimp were amazing- super fresh and huge pieces. Crab legs were good, and you can ask them to steam it quickly if you don't mind waiting for a few minutes. The smaller crab legs were really difficult to eat even though they are partially cracked, but you can ask your server for a small mallet if needed. The gazpacho was only ok. -Sushi & Asian Foods Plate (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bacchanal-buffet-las-vegas-7?select=n-9x_33nc6kufoos1XDSHg#GmKIYZO_0rIIlQJozVPNIQ): The sushi isn't that great, but at least the fish is fresh. The pad thai, green curry, and Chinese style eggplant were good, and the dim sum solid for a buffet (I had the Taro Bun and Pork Dumpling). The donut in the back was REALLY good, so definitely get that fresh if you see them making it. Skip the smoked salmon, which was really salty. The cup of vegetables would have been better without the sauce. -Desserts Plate 1 (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bacchanal-buffet-las-vegas-7?select=n-9x_33nc6kufoos1XDSHg#SGztT_WtbOC8VC2M7P0MOA): From bottom L to R: Passion Fruit Cheesecake was ok but not great, the macaron like dessert wasn't good, and the Mango Pudding? was just ok. I liked the Pandan Cake, which was moist, and the Green Tea Crème Brulee was the best out of the 5. -Desserts Plate 2 (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bacchanal-buffet-las-vegas-7?select=c30_hSNhwaedDB7VAXdoHw#c30_hSNhwaedDB7VAXdoHw): The cupcakes were horrible, but the pineapple tofu cakepop was actually really good! The mango mousse cake and their other cakes were just so-so. Service here was ok- our server was around at first, but there would be times we didn't see her for half an hour or more, and thus couldn't get our mimosa flutes re-filled. Other than that, Bacchanal is by far the best buffet that I've been to in Vegas (I've been to the Wynn, Cosmo, Bellagio) with the selection and quality of food. Definitely make sure you come early on the weekend if you want to avoid the wait.
