  • My friend and I took a weekend road trip to Toronto to see the Glee Live concert at the Air Canada Centre. This was my first and only visit to Canada. :-) So, Toronto is a great city, but wow - traffic was nuts. The parking garage we had planned to park in near the Air Canada Centre was actually closed, so we circled the block a few times before finding another one. Had to walk a few blocks to the centre, which was HUGE - wow! So, yes, the Centre is definitely a site to behold - packed with people. We were up in the 300 level seats and it took quite a bit of walking around to finally find an escalator versus stairs. Like most crowded concert venues, there were long lines everywhere - food and drink stands, souvenir places, bathrooms, etc. And yes, like all places like this, things are overpriced. We finally made our way up to our seats... highest row you could get to, lol. Wow. But, I gotta say... even that high up and that far away from the stage, the view was great and there were large screens that helped us see the Glee cast more up-close. The sound was decent. I would say that the ventilation left a bit to be desired, though. Got a bit stuffy and hazy as the concert went along. The seats were actually pretty decent, too, able to sit comfortably and there was some leg room, which is always a bonus. I definitely prefer smaller concert venues, but this was a pretty awesome experience.
