  • I can only speak to the children's area of the library, so based on what's available for kid's Sun Prairie Public Library has a ton to offer. There are multiple storytimes (there's a late morning storytime Monday - Wednesday and an evening one on Thursdays), reading programs that encourage kids to read by giving them prizes, and a nicely maintained kid's area. There are computers with games for kid's (can't get on the Internet, though, which is probably a good thing), a train table, fish tank, a covered backyard porch with a lego table, among other toys and activities for kids. There is also a good selection of books for babies, toddlers, and older children as well as parenting books in the kid's section. This is a great place to take your kids on a crazy hot day (which we haven't had too many of this summer), freezing winter day, or any other day in between.
