| - Breakfast is probably my favorite meal and Babystacks is definitely my favorite breakfast place in Las Vegas. I've eaten many times at the original and second locations on Buffalo, and quite a few times at the third location that opened in Centennial Hills not too long ago. Although I haven't tried the newest location in Henderson, I have no doubt the food and service meets the same high standard as the other locations.
As the name implies, the featured breakfast item on the menu is pancakes, and if you like pancakes, you have a great assortment to choose from (including Red Velvet, Cinnebun, White Chocolate Chip Macadamia, Carrot Cake, and many more). At last count there are 18 specialty pancakes in addition to traditional, and you can have them as your main course, or you can get pancakes as a side to complement a different breakfast item. Watch out: they're delicious and the stacks are big! Go with a half stack unless you're truly hungry.
But Babystacks does more than pancakes! Their other menu items are just as delicious and also range from traditional fare including a variety of eggs cooked to order, omelets and Eggs Benedict, French Toast, crepes, but they also have a few dishes unique to the shop. Be sure to check out the Kalua Grilled Cheese, the Portuguese (or Spam) sliders, or Rick's Adobo Fried Rice for starts.
Things to remember: The North Buffalo location is tiny; the South Buffalo location is much larger and more comfortable, as is the one in Centennial Hills. Also, they won't seat incomplete parties, so have everyone together when you arrive. On weekends, every location I've visited will quickly fill up and a line will form on weekends. Go early to be there when they open, or bring a book to enjoy during the wait. Keep in mind though: the wait is worth it!
Now go get your breakfast on!
