I am a screenwriter. This is one of the best places to have coffee or tea and get work done. The music is is good and at just the right volume. A lot of other Starbucks play it much too loud making it very hard to think clearly.
The staff are all friendly and will often converse with regulars. There are a lot of regulars and meet-ups here. Some groups meet-up to discuss business while other meet and talk politics...so make sure you bring some headphones if that will bother you as it can get passionate sometimes.
It's also very spacious and comfortable. Four armchairs, lots of tables both inside and outside on the patio. There are plenty of outlets and I've never had a problem trying to plug my laptop in to work. The majority of the store is divide in two with the coffee bar in the back and the tables and chairs in the front. This greatly reduces the noise from the coffee making, the ideal layout.
They don't have a drive-thru but I feel that gives it a more coffee shop type feel. Usually lots of parking available.
Overall my favorite place to work at.
