  • Dr. Beaty was very pleasant to deal with along with her front office staff. I was not pleased, however, with the optician and the frame selection process. She was very pushy and blamed her constant upselling on the "doctor's recommendation." I do not like to be pressured into upgrading to products I don't need. I've been wearing glasses since I was 16 and while I need them for daily wear my lenses are not super thick, however, the optician kept insisting I upgrade the lighter more expensive lenses and the impact resistant lenses. Along with the glare reducing coating. I explained to her very clearly I've had those upgrades on my lenses before and hated them. She pushed and she pushed. I was really quite irritated that her upsell was more important to her than the client's satisfaction. She made me uncomfortable and while I'd visit the office again. I would not allow her to assist me again.
