Called to schedule one of my free inspections after spending $2,000 to get my A/C fixed 11 months ago. I mentioned that I thought it wasn't working as well because my house wasn't cooling like normal(same problem when they supposedly fixed it for a huge amount of money), then she said it was going to be a $60 fee for them to come out........ So if I didn't mention that it was warm in my house then it would have been a free inspection? Does that make any sense? I questioned the employee and she didn't really understand it either so she spoke with the manager and said they would come out for free. Thank you for that . . . . . But I called back about 45 minutes later to reschedule it because I could make it sooner since someone would be home. Then things got weird. I asked the woman(different woman) if I could reschedule and she said to hold on. After the hold music was going for 5 minutes it stopped and I held on for another 5 minutes and no one came back. I hung up and called again. This time it picked up and there was no one there, just a beep. I hung up and called back and got someone else who said she would take a message since the office just had closed and that they would call me back first thing in the morning. another 45 minutes goes by and I get a phone call from this very rude woman. I assume she was the answering service for the company. Right off the bat she was on the offense and her tone was condescending. I asked if I could schedule it for a different date because someone would now be available to answer the door if they came over at an earlier date. She said it was going to be a $60 charge. I said that I had spoke with the woman earlier and that they were going to come out for the free inspection. She kept saying in a nasty voice, "Well, it doesn't say that here." I kept on telling her in a nice voice that I understood that's how they dealt with things but that's what was agreed upon. She kept talking over me and denying it and at one point she said to me, "Well then why didn't you just schedule it for that day to begin with???" And mind you that this was said in a very snippy way. I usually keep my cool but after I heard that I almost lost it. I ended up leaving the conversation with no resolution and a very bitter taste in my mouth about this company. I have never dealt with such a high percentage of unprofessional and rude people before. Maybe you might not get the same experience that I have, but for how many issues I had with just a simple problem, chances are high from what I had gone through. Don't let the milkman uniforms or the ONE guy from Dateline fool you.
