  • I recently moved into a home with no backyard landscaping at all and a horribly evil tree in the front yard. Knowing I couldn't stare at bare dirt much longer, and being totally fed up with getting poked by the thorny branches on the tree in the front I knew I needed to make my way to a nursery. I ventured to the Moon Valley on 7th st with some dreams in mind and no landscaping experience in hand. I knew that the backyard would be difficult to work with because it gets full sun all day and the land was untouched, meaning hard and rocky. I was pleased that the staff here greeted me promptly, then let me wander and see what they had to offer on my own without feeling bombarded. Once I had some more ideas and TONS of questions the staff here was able to answer my five million obnoxious questions with ease and a smile. The team member who helped me, not only helped me navigate my way to plants that would work well under the conditions I had to work with, but gave me the pros and cons to each plant. Once I had picked out what plants I wanted to start with the staff even helped me to carry them all (silly me didn't grab a cart). Thanks Moon Valley for helping me to make the backyard a prettier place, and the front less pokey!
