This is a poorly designed terminal. The bathrooms don't have sufficient capacity to handle the influx of people coming off of a flight (one of the men's rooms has only two urinals, totally unsuitable to the load of an inbound flight). The food selections are mediocre.
But what really bugs me is the TSA checkpoint. Sometimes the PRE line (for trusted travelers) is open, and sometimes it's not - you can't count on it. When someone needs a secondary inspection (baggage or person, in PRE or regular lines), they often don't have the personnel to handle it, so you wait in line until another TSA person shows up.
The shops and restaurants are nothing great either - unless you need a $35 Arizona T-shirt, or just Starbucks. If you want to purchase food, or buy a book, the selection is really limited.
