Caesars palace is a cool spot with a fantastic location right in the center of the Las Vegas strip. This place is freaking historic and reigned as one of the top hotels in Vegas for quite sometime... Unfortunately, Caesars has hit a bit of a dry spell, especially as newer more modern casinos have hit the strip. The rooms here are nice, but not always spectacular, the amenities leave a bit to be desired and the casino is still a bit difficult to navigate and there isn't enough table game (craps, etc...) Regardless, I have had a great time over the last several years at Caesars and I believe with Omnia now open and some of the new restaurants coming in that this place will gain back its relevance.
