  • Excellent Quality! Not your average cupcake shop! I have been a fan of this bakery since the day it opened. I live close by and first saw an ad in the local paper about their opening. I am gluten free (well, supposed to be) and a junk food junkie (not a good combination) so this place delivers on all fronts. They started with a small shop after doing this out of the owner's kitchen for a year. The store has since expanded to now having a huge counter like an old fashioned bakery. This shop has also been featured on the Food Network's Cupcake Wars where they came in second place. Their items are high quality and delicious. I have had the gluten free/vegan and regular items and the portions are large and fresh. They also sell 'day old' cupcakes at a reduced price.They offer a loyalty card, well now it's a loyalty phone app. I don't need another thing to download, so my loss on a free cupcake. I did inquire about having a 2 layer cake made but it was pricey, so I will have to stick to the cupcakes for now. If you are up by the Lake, stop by as they are just off exit 28 in the same parking lot adjacent to Goodwill.
