rev:text	I have been a dedicated EWC client for like 5 years. I prefer a hard wax, not a soft wax and wax strips, and I've found it difficult to find another place that does the hard wax like EWC. Enter Waxing the City - I had seen their ads in my Facebook feed and this week money got tight and I needed a wax so I headed in for my first time 50% off Brazilian. Waxing the City also uses hard wax for their Brazilians! I think that their wax is also very high quality - this time I have WAY less tiny hairs that EWC's blue wax sometimes misses, and let me tell you my crack is as smooth as a babys butt, pun totally intended. First of all, the Waxing the City atmosphere is so welcoming! Definitely not trying to be glam or fancy, it's a clean, open lobby with very gender neutral decor. This might not be a big deal to some and doesn't matter to me, but I liked seeing that this place made a real effort to be appealing to both guys and girls. It being close to Halloween they had the required candy bowl for sampling, but they also had this neat little container of compliments! I thought it was really nice that they thought to offer compliments as well as candy. Their waxing suites have PHONE CHARGERS - it's a small touch but it really makes the client feel taken care of. Their little corner for dropping your stuff off was way more suited to a purse and your clothes than other wax suites I have seen. One thing that I thought was really nice was that Monica left me with a drape while I undressed from the waist down - I am not the most modest person, but I think this practice would definitely help others calm down and get in a pampering mood. Monica handled my wax and was wonderful! She did a great job on my brazilian and also was super easy to talk to - I did not get the feeling she was just trying to make conversation, she's actually a truly friendly person. Other reviews are right - she definitely takes pride in having happy clients, and even made sure to give me her card with her availability on it. Yes, that helps her keep clients, but also makes sure I am able to get another appointment with her and stay happy! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
