| - The only good thing I have to say is the view - and that's if you're in Tower 2 facing west. It shows the Phoenix skyline and the sunsets are amazing. No thanks to all the views that face into other people's apartments or onto mill avenue where you can hear the loud bars. If you want to hear the bad stuff - onwards
The staff and students who live here are rude and disrespectful. The flash foreign rich kids that live here are the worst with their loud, obnoxious cars and heavy cologne stinking up the elevators. Your Tom Ford cologne or crazy expensive decked out car isn't going to get you laid! Whenever they Vroom! Vroom! through the parking lot and set off all the car alarms I wanna pull my hair out! The no smoking rule is a joke. You're not supposed to smoke in your apartments or on the balcony. All you have to do is see all the cigarette butts at the bottom of the towers. I've seen a lit cigarette butt fly past my balcony at night, not to mention the ones I've found on my patio. It's not only gross but a fire hazard. The guy below me smokes something that stinks! Every time he does it I have to go inside because it smells so bad. Also, neighbors are extremely inconsiderate with their music. A guy that lives above me has parties sometimes and has had his music on blast as late as 4 a.m. Chancers will sometimes ask you to fob them up to the 7th floor where the pool is. Annoying! If you live in Tower 2 facing west, yes the view is the best but you pay for it with the loud plane noises, fire truck and police sirens (fire truck station is right next door), and the train! (Train tracks are right across the street.) Also, you're not supposed to wash your balcony and pour the water over the edge, but tenants will pretend they didn't get the memo and do it anyway, so your balcony windows will be muddied and the view ruined. And maintenance only comes round once a year to wash the outside of the windows so you're left with dirty windows for the majority of the year. The only good thing this place has, ruined by the idiots living above me! As far as the apartment goes, the one bedroom is nice but too small for two people. It baffles me how the balcony is so large and the apartment is so small. The elevators don't work sometimes. Management hassles you with rent reminders even if you pay your rent on time. They also hassle you to renew your lease come January. No thanks! Three months before moving out they'll do a "move-out inspection". They take pictures of all the things you have hanging on the walls so they can charge you for them when you move out. This place has to be the most overpriced apartment complex in Tempe, yet the only good thing you pay for is the view.
