| - Mum wanted to go to a farmers market after visiting Lionel's Farm, so farmers market we will go!!!
In the very outskirts of Markham, you'll see a little quaint farm house with nothing around it. When we went inside, it was BUSTLING with people. Quite busier than I expected it to be. The interior really plays on the barnyard aesthetic yet it was still so charming and clean. It's not a huge place, but they had lots of produce, flowers, baked goods, fridges for pre made food, and a corn wagon outside. It was really awesome!
One thing I noticed was that the prices were defff higher than your regular grocery store. Hopefully you can see the pics I posted. But I swear peppers were like $7 or something like that. The quality and the size were really great though and you can see the difference from an average grocery store. One thing we enjoyed was the corn cart on the outer part. For 6 corn it is $3.75 and you peel the husk right there. Even before husking them I can tell it was going to be amazing quality as it was perfect from the outside.
We bought a sunflower, a gluten free chicken pot pie family size, and 6 corn. The corn was to dieeee for. It was so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. The pie.... it NEEDS THE GLUTEN!!!!! For any crispy carby crusty pie lovers, don't get it as it is not crispy or carby or crusty. Don't get me wrong it was still good, but for me it was missing those three qualities. Sunflower is gorgeous and sitting beside me right now.
All in all 4.5/5. Really great quality produce with a variety. Nice aesthetics. I'd visit here more often if it was closer!
