| - We're a military family and I found Aliante Dental through our insurance provider. I chose Aliante Dental because of its close proximity to our home, however I will be looking for a different provider for myself and for the kids because of the experiences we've had. I took the kids for a cleaning early in the morning at 0700, which they told me they would be done in time for school. I did everything they asked, downloaded the forms, filled them out at home, showed up early, and we were still late to school. The dentist and techs seemed all over the place, we could have made it on time.
I went by myself for a cleaning later in the week, which went okay because the hygienist was nice, but the dentist seemed young and shy? Plus, I had to do two X-rays because the first one didn't come out well. Due to crowding of my bottom teeth, braces/invisalign was recommended, so I scheduled a consultation later.
My son and I had ortho consultations which did not go well. My son's X-ray was blurry, but the dentist (who did not introduce himself, I don't know who he was) saw enough to say his tooth is impacted (not true per a second opinion from down the street). I think they need a new X-ray machine. I had trays made for invisalign, which were botched. It's not a pleasant process and even less pleasant when you have to have three made instead of two because the tech didn't fill it up properly for a good mold. The dentist chastised her in front of me, bad form. And it took them a while to figure out the camera.
Overall, the front staff of Aliante Dental are friendly. The hygienists are also nice (two stars vs one), but the techs and dentists have some room to improve. Pricing seems high to me and bedside manner is not the best. They have great hours, but I would not recommend this practice to anyone and will be finding another dentist. I absolutely DO NOT recommend for orthodontic work.
