  • When we traveled here for our son's spring break, I didn't want to stay on the strip. It's fun to explore, but I wanted to stay away from the madness and busy-ness. Being a rewards member, of course, Marriott is my go to. I researched the different Marriott hotel chains, and we decided on this one. I really do like the area where this one is located. It's part of the Hughes business center. Close to tall businesses and some restaurants, plus a starbucks! Not to mention, it is quiet. Makes it easy to turn down for the night and rest, then get up again and be out and about the next day. Mind you, we came to Vegas but had planned a drive to Grand Canyon West and Hoover Dam. So most of the time we did not stay in the hotel. We were out and about. The hotel to me is clean, the staff is friendly (had our room ready with everything I requested- I used the app check in), and our room had ample space (1 bed suite with kitchen). AC was a must and worked just fine. We literally ran the AC daily! The room has plentiful of lighting, and windows...made you feel comfortable. Also, there is a lounge and pool area. We did not use the pool, but utilized the lounge areas on some nights- ample seating! You cannot beat the complimentary hot breakfast every morning. Yes, it can get a bit redundant, but imagine paying for breakfast everyday for at least 3 days at a restaurant or buffet? This was quite a win win for us as our son is picky. We did not want to waste $ and food for him to order a meal and not finish it. They do switch things up a little and add a variety of items from waffles, cereals, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. I want to add that we did not have any issues finding parking. On some nights we parked a little further than we wanted, but not a far walk at all. I believe there is a parking garage behind the hotel as well. We utilized Lyft to get to the strip. I imagine you can walk there too. Lyft had no issues finding us with the easy access of the hotel and the exits. Overall I would stay here again if we saw fit. If you traveling with a large family, the complimentary breakfast and suite rooms, can be a money saver and helpful with space.
