  • Old West Builders is awful. Their number is 480-719-8100 and they rarely answer. There is a very long recording and when I did get a hold of someone, they put me on hold for over 20 mins and then hung up on me. They came out on Mon Jul 3 2017 and fixed the problem with my AC (I also live in Phx like some of the other customers that have written and its 117 today, Jul 6). It ran until 9am July 4 and then failed. Both myself and First American Home Warranty have been trying to reach them (email for them, phone for me), to no avail. I have called the Warranty Co. again and they have again initiated an email requesting that Old West Builders contact me to schedule an appt. Please note that they use automated calendaring and scheduling tools. No one even has to call. JUST SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT AND GET OUT HERE. I also will be reporting them to the BBB and giving this feedback to my Warranty Co. with the request to remove them as a contractor. I feel bad for the HVAC technicians that work for Old West Builders as they bear the brunt of this ridiculous "business".
