I had been wanting to check this place out since I read about them opening and I finally made it. We decided to take my parents there when they were in town visiting.
We had a lot of fun. It was a lot harder than we were expecting. Throwing the ax itself wasn't hard, it was pretty light, but getting it to stick in the wooden target was definitely a challenge. We got a little better at it by the end, but the majority of our throws still fell to the ground.
They have a scoring mechanism, but we just played for fun. They help you with the best way to throw, so you aren't completely on your own.
It's nota big area, but it's well decorated. Each lane has to targets and you rotate through who is throwing.
At $20 per person for an hour, is not the cheapest, but it is a good time. I definitely think it's worth checking out and trying at least once. I probably won't be back all the time, but I would come back for special occasions with a group of friends.
