| - Love this dentist! After moving to over seven years ago, I have been searching for a dentist that I like. Everyone I asked either didn't like their dentist, or their dentist wasn't taking new customers. For a couple years, I stayed with the dentist I have been with since I was 3 years old, but it was too difficult to make the 5-6 hour drive and I stopped going. After a couple years, I decided it was time to be a grown-up and find a dentist. Densley Dental is close to my house, so when I saw their reviews on Yelp I decided to give them a shot.
I have been in three times now in the past month. My first visit was very pleasant, from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist, everyone was super friendly! I loved to see how the receptionists conversed with the other patients in the waiting room. The conversations were more like friends than clients. I'll be honest, I was scared to go to the dentist after not going for a couple years. I knew I hadn't taken the best care of my teeth. I'm easily embarrassed and was worried about getting a lecture. Although they did tell me I had five cavities, and told me I need to floss daily and brush twice (the typical lecture) I didn't sense any kind of judgement from anyone I spoke with.
My second visit was for three of my cavities. I told them it was my first cavity, and they could tell I was a little nervous. The dentist tried to do the fillings without numbing to start, but as soon as I raised my hand to signal that it was painful, he stopped and numbed my mouth. The assistant offered to hold my hand for the shot, which I thought was a nice thing to do :) I went back a week later to get the other cavities filled. All my visits were super efficient and they took care to make sure I was comfortable.
Five stars all the way - I love this dentist!
