Jack Astor's is the kind of place people go to who have no idea about food. Or maybe they want to be seen on the patio on John. You can get pad thai, but it will cost you 16 dollars when you can go get more delicious pad thai else where. This is a place I refuse to go to now. The last time I was there was for a farewell lunch, and I went because of that... I got the rigatoni because I thought pasta is hard to screw up. It tasted fine, but it was overcooked. In a city with so many options and diversity of food, no one should be going to a place like this unless they are from out of town.
The plus is that you can get tables with paper on, and crayons for drawing. That is the one plus.
