  • I realized this weekend that summer is almost over and I haven't even visited the good old Apple Factory!! I was excited to come in here as I have a few favourites that include their Apple cider, apple pie, strawberries, and sweet corn. As soon as you walk in you will see their strawberries, but today I was surprised to see these new ones from Quebec that did not look appealing at all, as they were very tiny in size. You will see what I'm talking about in my photo attached as they are compared in size to a small plastic fork. The best part was the price.. $3.97??!! Are you serious! I decided to buy them as I have never been let down by the Apple Factory as in the past all their fruit has been delicious! They didn't have my sweet corn so I was kind of bummed about that.. the apples looked very brown. To be honest nothing looked that appealing which is odd because that's what the Apple Factory is known for, it's delicious looking array of fruit. I understand that prices everywhere have gone up but $7.59 for 3 plums?!?? What the hell is going on?. I bought their Apple cider and Apple pie. When I got home I was very curious to try these very expensive strawberries.. omg yuck! they were disgusting and one on the bottom was mouldy. Apple cider tasted off as well.. can't put my finger on it but it was not how I remembered it to be. Apple pie was good. Sadly to say but I won't be back as their prices have increased tremendously and their value is just not worth it.
