  • The views are great from the rooms. You could, however, have similar accommodations with better customer service and coffee in the room without the views at a nearby hotel for much less. I've stayed at Palazzo three times. When you arrive, expect that there will be problems with the reservation. The desk clerk will then offer to upgrade your room, but if they don't, you should argue for it and they will give you the upgrade. I got to stay at a two bedroom suite for this Christmas this way. However, if you compare the room with Encore or Wynn, I like Encore's modern and elegant style better. The rooms are well decorated, however, there seems to be maintenance issues. I've encountered missing light bulb, leaking toilet and broken TV in my prior visits. The nice thing staying here is that you have the choices of the many restaurants combined at the Venetian, Venezzia and Palazzo. Plus, you have the benefit of quality shopping at the Canal Shops. For a normal good meal, Grand Lux is a good choice. For special dinners, Sushi Samba is good place for late-night drinks and snacks. Its food quality is exceptional and consistent. The Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro is a place to stay away from. The food was lousy, and the service was bad. I'd rather go to the Cut for steak. For Chinese food, I usually just go to Panda Express at the Venetian if I don't want to spend too much on a meal, however, Zine Noodles at the Palazzo is a must try. I love their Rare Filet Mignon Noodle Soup and Abalone and Chicken Congee. It was named a top 10 Chinese restaurant in the US by whoever they claim. Overall, I think the Palazzo is a good or very good hotel, but not exceptional and falls short of a five stars hotel standard.
