  • Before reading my review, check out Elliot from Tolleson's review. I had a nearly identical experience with one major exception. Found just the car we were looking for on cars.com and was in the area and went to see it. The car was perfect and the price was great, even my salesman Seve was a great guy. Got ready to sign and noticed that the price had jumped $5300 for "options". Asked Seve what that was and he said it was the dealer cost to prep the car, essentially a $5K detailing. We went round and round for a while. I mentioned that I had recently purchased 2 other used cars at other local dealerships in the past year or 2 and just paid sticker plus tax and title. He wouldn't budge and along comes the "manager" (in quotes because he never actually introduced himself). This guy asks what the issue is, I explain and immediately he asks what it will take to get me into a new car instead. I just laughed and said that I refuse to do any business with a dishonest company and walked out. Unlike Elliot however, nobody came running after me. I bet my wife though that I'll get a call tomorrow asking me to come back. If I do...not a chance! Please, if you're part of the ownership or senior management of this place, read through your reviews. See a common thread? People think you're crooks. There are other nearby dealerships getting 4 and 5 star reviews. It's possible to be both successful and ethical. Try it.
