  • Who wouldn't love this place and it's larger-than-life owners? This is one of those Delis where everybody knows your name. Well, everybody who matters - that is, those folks serving food. The menu is extensive - with chalk boards filled with the Deli's gourmet sandwich offering on every available surface. As well as the sandwiches, you can buy the regular supply of chips, drinks, coffee, and some less common items such as beer, wine, and cigars. The vegetarian offerings are not too shabby either, with a good selection of salads and meat-free sandwiches. The Blue Shroom is one of the best sandwiches I've had, and I'm a dedicated meat-eater. Serving sizes are good, and the prices are about what you'd expect. If you're in the area and looking for lunch, I definitely recommend this place.
