I have stayed at some really icky places and some very nice places too. From the Riviera in Vegas to the Westin on Kanapali Beach. I have also stayed in a number of WorldMark resorts.
The Worldmark Las Vegas is a shining example of why ownership in a timeshare is a good idea.
The property is newer and just a few miles off the strip and close to the airport. I actually liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The 2BR/2BA was nicely appointed and clean.
We didn't have enough time to take advantage of the pool or the lazy river but I want to next time we visit. Our room overlooked the pool and it was very pretty.
The only complaint or negative comment that I have is regarding the concierge service. I had wanted to see the Titanic exhibit at The Luxor and knew from my investigating that there were discount tickets available.
We stopped by the concierge desk and were assisted by a young woman. I told her what I was wanting and she said that she was out of tickets for that and handed me one of the coupon booklets that they have available. I had already reviewed the book and knew that there was a $5 ticket off. I told her that I knew Tix4Less had tickets for approximately half off. She said "oh' no, you don't want to do that!". Well, yes, I do.
Also, in this day of Internet availability, I thought it was really tacky that they charge for WiFi. If McDonalds and Starbucks can offer it, Worldmark can't include it?
Other than that, I loved the property, the service was fine and we'll be back. It's not the Westin but it's pretty darn nice!
